Dentist and Staff
Nathan Guilford, DDS
Dr. Nathan Guilford was raised in Frederick, a small town in southwestern Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma
where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in zoology and played in the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band. After completion of his undergraduate degree he continued on to University of Oklahoma Dental School. He graduated in 2001 and began working as an associate on the south side of Oklahoma City. Prior to opening Toothbrusher's Dental, Dr. Guilford was a touring dentist working for a temporary agency and filling in for dentists all over the state.
Dr. Guilford has cared for thousands of families' dental health. He excels in helping all ages understand dental procedures and putting his patients at ease. He has a strong belief in ethical and gentle treatment of patients above all. He is married to Julia Kirt who is executive director of the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. Laura, Dental Assistant
Laura has been with Toothbrusher's since April of 2006. She grew up in Altus, Oklahoma and graduated from Navajo
High School in 2002. She then attended Western Oklahoma State College in Altus graduating in 2005. She then moved to Oklahoma City and graduated from Oklahoma Health Academy in the spring of 2006 at the top of her class.
Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys gloing to church, going to the movies with friends, playing sports and volunteering. In her down-time, she enjoys listening to Christian music, reading Christian based books, and cooking. Laura also has a cat named Lucky.
Kala, Dental Hygienist
Kala was the 2011 President of the Oklahoma Dental Hygienists' Association and is also a former Young Alumnus
award winner of the OU College of Dentistry. She is an avid Sooner fan, going to all of the home football games (and most of the basketball games too) always cheering her team until she is hoarse. She also enjoys reading and traveling. She'll keep your smile bright and shiny!
Ashley, Receptionist and Insurance Specialist
Ashley is a native Oklahoman who roots for OU along with the rest of our dental team! She has 3 children, ages 15, 10, and 3. In her spare time
she loves to work out, play any kind of sport, and hang out with her kids. When you call, she'll most likely be the one to greet you here at Toothbrusher's Dental.
Cheryl, Dental Assistant
Help us greet our newest member Cheryl when you come in! In her spare time, this Little Axe native enjoys listening to music, going to
concerts, practicing archery and reading. She enjoys all things sci-fi and encourages you to try and stump her with any sci-fi trivia when you come in!
