Treating Children
Children are very important to us at Toothbrusher's Dental. We know that from the first time they walk (or are carried) into the waiting room, they are forming impressions of the dentist office that will last a lifetime! This is why we gear our office to be concerned not only with the health of the child's mouth but also his or her experience at the dental office.
We always talk to children and try to explain what we are doing in terms that a child can understand so that fear of the unknown is minimized. We provide family friendly television, movies and video games in the treatment rooms and waiting room to make the atmosphere of the dental office feel more like home.
Children are very alert to stories of the dental office. If your child hears you describe a bad dental experience, chances are that they will be very frightened at the dental office. Truth is dentistry has come a long way in the last few years alone and many of those old stories just aren't true anymore!
