Dustin Boise emulates propaganda through his images of teeth, toothpaste, and floss. Just in time for Dental Health month (February), Boise's installation will open to the public on January 23. Then, it will be on display for 3 months for patients enjoyment while they get their teeth cleaned! The exhibition includes prints and paintings, as well as artworks made of wood, metal, and plastic.
Boise said, "The bombardment of advertisements and repetitious images inspires the basis of my work; in particular, subject matter that relates to social behavior and appearance, such as dental hygiene." Boise is an art student at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. |
